Welcome to Couple Joy! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application (the "App"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Account Creation and Usage
1.1 Account Information
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password.
1.2 User Conduct
You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You also agree not to:
- Violate any third-party rights, including privacy or intellectual property rights.
- Engage in any form of harassment, bullying, or abusive behavior.
- Upload, share, or distribute content that is offensive, obscene, or inappropriate.
2. Photo Uploads and Sharing
2.1 Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the photos you upload to the App. By uploading photos, you grant us the right to store and display the photos solely for the purpose of facilitating private sharing between you and your chosen partner.
2.2 Partner Access
You are solely responsible for choosing the partner with whom you share photos. We do not access or view your shared photos.
3. User Location
3.1 Location Sharing
The App may request access to your device's location services. By granting permission, you acknowledge that the App may use your location data when shared with your partner through the App's features.
3.2 Location Storage
We store only the latest user location for the purpose of facilitating location-based features within the App. We do not track or save your location history.
4. Account Deletion
4.1 Deletion
You may delete your account at any time within the App. Deleting your account will remove your personal information from our active database.
4.2 Data Removal
When you delete your account:
- All your personal information, including your name, email, and password, will be permanently removed from our active database.
- All photos uploaded by you will be instantly deleted from our active database.
4.3 Retention of Database Backup
Please note that while your account is promptly removed from our active database, we retain database backups for a period of 30 days. During this backup retention period, your information may still exist in our backup copies.
5. Changes to the App
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be filed only in the courts located within Switzerland, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
